Pulo do Lobo

Picture
This translates to  Wolf's Leap. Its 17kms  north of Mertola in the Guadiana Valley Natural Park and accessible via country roads and then a very steep dirt road.

Interesting geological features here though what you see will depend on the time of year and water levels.

The steep dirt road is likely to be difficult for the bigger motorhome and it may be best not to try it if its very wet. You can park at the top and walk down if unsure.

There are no facilities just a quiet picnic spot and a bit of good birdwatching.
