Introduction
On our summer 2009 trip we did not have time to see much of Poland but as we were so close to the border when we were in Czech Republic we decide to pay a quick visit. For this reason this page is a bit short but we may add to it if we visit again. People have recommended Warsaw and Gdansk for a visit.
One of the things that we particularly noticed in Poland was the number of young nuns and priests. We wondered whether this was the Pope John Paul II effect.
