Introduction
Hungarian Parliament
Hungary is a lovely country, some beautiful scenery, charming towns, nice people, good food plenty of campsites and reasonably priced. Just forget we said that, or promise not to tell anybody.
We stayed at Camping Haller and it is a great site – smallish with no marked pitches (we were lucky to get a good pitch under one of the massive London Plane trees) but cheap (less than 4,000 HUF – about £13 - per night, and four nights for the price of three), decent facilities (but a bit under pressure when the site is fullish, as now), three new FREE washing machines and four maidens, and only 500m from the metro into town. A mix of nationalities (there were some other Brits but they left) including lots of Italians, and camping types – lots of tents with young people, caravans, trailer tents and motorhomes
