HelloWelcome and thank you for coming to look at our web page. We started this web page when we retired and can't believe we started motorhoming so long ago. Our European trips have taken us as far as the Russian border in Estonia and the Syrian border in Turkey. We have also gone beyond Europe and rented a motorhome there as you can see from the list to the left. These days we no longer have our motorhome but still enjoy travelling, sometimes hiring a motorhome in distant countries, so we hope these pages give you an idea of what you can do with a motorhome whether your own or one hired for your holiday or just like to visit new places without one. To the left of this column you will see to the list of links to our other pages where we give a brief description of ourselves, our travels and also lots and lots of pictures. |
What´s new
We have visited Japan three times now and we still find very few people touring the way that we do so we have created a page to give you some ideas . Click the link below

As well as any blog page (which appear only when we are on the road) we have created a page for each of the countries we have visited, see the column to the left. Each country section has chapters relating to particular places visited in that country. We have gone for an overview rather than a detailed diary containing the duller details of daily life being of the view that you don't want to hear what time I got up or what I found in Lidl. For general tourist detail there is always Rough Guide or Lonely Planet books. Up to date details on campsites can be obtained from the many many books available. Our aim is to visit as many countries in the European Union as we can. We still have a long way to go. |
The purpose of this diary is remind us of our trips, download photos ( click the button below for additional photos) and generally to act as a resource that friends and family can access to find out where we are and what we are doing. We also hope that it will act as a reminder that you do not have to spend a fortune and travel long distances to see some lovely sights. Our hobbies are birdwatching and wandering around old towns and buildings - the following pages reflect this. |
As mentioned above we have given an overview of our travels, but if you have a particular query we will be glad to help if we can. Click on the button below to contact us. Or just leave a message on the Comments page. |
